This article explains how to get the Homebrew Channel back after updating your Wiis operating system. Installing BootMii into boot2 is really powerful because boot2 runs pretty much as soon as the Wii turns on, so if your Wii is bricked and wont turn on to the System Menu, chances are BootMii (running in boot2) will still work and let your either boot directly into the Homebrew Channel to fix the brick or restore a working NAND backup. But inside this first 'apps' folder there is another 'apps' folder that is empty. inside the 'apps' folder there are folders like loadiine, wiiflow, wupinstaller, d2xcios-installer and many others. Extract the folder, then copy it to the apps directory on your SD Card.
